Tarot Affirmations
In this deck, Sally Hill combines two traditions for personal transformation - the tarot and affirmations. Affirmations are positive statements designed to promote growth and change. Hill believes that through the tarot we can receive messages from the unconscious and through affirmations we can send messages back. The affirmations in this deck are always positive, even when the card is a challenging one. A sample for the 7 of Swords is "I am seeking a solution to a threat that appears to be beyond my control." Each card shows the card's name in the upper left. For the majors, the number is given, and for the minors, the suit symbol. Below is the image for the card from the Universal Waite Tarot. On the right are a series of affirmations related to the card's meaning. The majors and four suits each have a distinctive background color. Despite its size, the Tarot Affirmations deck can be used as a regular deck for readings with suggested interpretations printed on each card. This deck is also a tool for learning the cards and as a source of positive reinforcement and guidance. The small instruction booklet offers suggestions for daily, weekly and yearly use.
