Beginner's Tarot
The cards in the Beginner's Tarot by Karen McCormack are loosely based on the Tarot of Marseilles, but they've been restyled. Different elements have been added and others removed to create a more modern look. The numbered suit cards use familiar suit symbols, but arranged in new ways. The card titles are in French. The companion book Beginner's Tarot offers a brief overview of tarot history and reading methods. Also, for each major arcana card, McCormack gives a brief interpretation for that card in every position in the Celtic Cross spread. There are also some notes on card combinations and meanings for the minor arcana cards.
