Tarot of the Children
Artist Lele Luzzatiis is over 70, and yet he sees with the eyes of a child. He knows that children "talk about simple things and see the most ordinary and common as wonderful miracles around which to gather and play." His Tarot of the Children deck is designed to bring out this joy and spontaneity. He wants these cards to be used for storytelling in the tradition of children's imaginative tales and adventures. In the major arcana, all the figures are happy children. Even Death is smiling. Also included on each card are the number and name in five languages. The minor arcana cards show small, brightly colored scenes with the standard number of suit symbols. The suits are numbered 1-14, with the last four cards as the court cards. This deck is published by Lo Scarabeo of Italy and distributed by Llewellyn in the US. It is also known as the Children Tarot.
