Celtic Tarot
The Celtic Tarot is devoted to the culture and legends of the Celtic people. It was originally published as just the 22 major arcana cards by artist Giacinto Gaudenzi. This new version includes the minor arcana by artist Saverio Tenuta. The styles of the two artists blend well. Each major arcana card shows a figure from one of three different Celtic legends. The name of the figure is given at the bottom while the traditional tarot name is given at the top in four languages with the card number. Each suit of the minor arcana is dedicated to a different Irish ethnic group or people: Fomori (wands), Tuatha De Danann (pentacles), Ulaid (swords) and Fianna (chalices). The instruction sheet describes the legend that goes with each major arcana card. This deck is published by Lo Scarabeo of Italy and distributed by Llewellyn in the US.
