The Dragon Oracle by Gillian Stokes is an "introduction to the cultural beliefs and methods of divination" of China and the Far East. The set includes a sampling of different oracle tools. There are cards for working with twelve-animal astrology and tarot-like spreads, three I ching coins and a pa kua or compass for making feng shui assessments. The companion book The Dragon Oracle describes each of these tools and other related topics. These include the chinese dragon symbol, eastern world view, chinese year and magic square astrology. This book is illustrated with many color pictures and diagrams. The Dragon Oracle comes in a striking red and gold container reminiscent of Chinese lacquer boxes.
