Spirit of Flowers Tarot
Every card in the Spirit of Flowers deck is associated with a different flower. The images by artist Antonella Castelli show each flower in a woodland setting with a fairy spirit-child. Most of the fairy children seem to be aged about 3-7, but some are older and there is even a baby on the 9 of Chalices. The flowers are grouped by color: lavender and blue for chalices, yellow for pentacles, red for wands and white for swords. The majors are a variety of colors. There are no suit symbols on the minor cards, but the number of blossoms matches the card number. Knights ride miniature creatures (see below). The instruction booklet by Laura Tuan gives the name of each card's flower with a traditional interpretation and meaning in the "language of flowers." There's also a special Corolla spread in the shape of a flower.
