Sacred Circle Tarot
The Sacred Circle Tarot was first conceived over 15 years ago by Anna Franklin and graphic designer Paul Mason. They wanted to create a tarot deck that would draw on the Pagan and mythological heritage of Britian and Ireland using collages of photographic images. Modern computer imaging technology has helped them realize their vision. Franklin is a Prietess in the British Pagan Tradition. The cards picture the sacred sites, symbols and love of nature that are part of this practice (although it is not necessary to be a pagan to work with this beautiful deck). The Sacred Circle Tarot is only available as a boxed set that includes the book The Sacred Circle Tarot: A Celtic Pagan Journey also by Franklin and Mason (336 pages). This book details the symbolism and meanings of each card as well as spreads and background information. Frankling and Mason also collaborated on the Fairy Ring deck.
