Sacred Path Cards
The Sacred Path cards are designed to help the seeker rediscover personal trughts through an awareness of the Sacred Teachings of the Native American spiritual tradition. Jamie Sams is a member of the Wolf Clan Teaching Lodge. Her 44-card deck is a guide to the lessons we encounter on our Medicine Walk. Each card shows a number and title at the top with a keyword meaning or phrase at the bottom. In the center is a buffalo skin showing the object or scene from the Native American way of life that illustrates the theme. In the companion book Sacred Path Cards: The Discovery of Self through Native Teachings, Sams describes the teaching and application of each card. She offers several special Native American spreads such as the Tipi and Sacred Mountain. Sams is also the creator of the Medicine Cards for lessons from the Totem Animals. The two decks can be used together for deeper insights. The artist is Linda Childers.
