Winged Spirit Tarot
David Sexton created the Winged Spirit Tarot to be a bridge between humankind, tarot and angels. Winged spirits are natural messengers we can call on when seeking guidance from spirit - the heart of tarot work. Each major arcana card in this deck represents a different angel. For example, the Star is Phanuel, the angel of hope and penance. The minor arcana cards show situations in which angels are interacting with man in different ways. Each of the four suits has a color associated with it: Wands (brown-orange), Cups (violet), Swords (blue-gray) and Spheres (light green). The four court cards of each suit represent different stages of awareness in the area associated with that suit. For example, the Page of Cups represents the first stage of emotional awareness. Sexton is also the creator of the Tarot of Oz.
