Ramses: Tarot of Eternity
The Ramses Tarot of Eternity deck combines scenes of ancient Egypt with the traditional tarot structure. The period covered dates from about 1304 BC when Sethi I ascended to the throne through the reign of Merenptah (1224 BC). The major arcana focuses on the era of the great pharaoh Ramses II with episodes from his family, battles, religion and court life. The minor arcana features scenes from the daily life of the time. Writer Giordano Berti and artist Severino Baraldi have tried to be as historically accurate as possible. Each card gives the number and title in six languages. The instruction booklet includes a special "Eye of Horus" spread.
